The Academic Complete collection by ProQuest provides access to over 240,000 e-books from hundreds of academic publishers, offering broad disciplinary coverage. The range with the highest number of publications spans from 1993 to 2024; as this is an aggregator, current-year publications are not included. Access to e-books is unlimited for all users. The collection can be accessed via both the ProQuest Ebook Central and ProQuest One Academic platforms.
What you can do on the platform:
- E-books can be read online using a dedicated platform reader that allows, after registration, text highlighting, note-taking, and other features.
- Individual chapters can be downloaded in PDF format to your PC or mobile device after signing up on the platform, with a limit of 40 percent of the total pages per day, per book, per user.
- Temporary downloads (digital lending) of entire e-books are also possible for up to 21 days, for offline reading on your PC or mobile device.
To download an entire e-book, the following is required:
- Registration or login to the ProQuest Ebook Central platform.
- Download and installation of the Ebook Central Reader app on your PC or mobile device from your Ebook Central profile (starting from 19 November 2025, Adobe Digital Editions will no longer be supported for reading downloaded books).
- Linking your PC or mobile device to your account using the code provided by the platform.
- Authentication on the ProQuest Academic Complete platform using your Ebook Central credentials, once the e-book has been selected and the download option chosen.
