AlmaDL makes available the Guidelines for depositing dataset e software in AMS Acta to support those who want to deposit and self-archive research data and software in the institutional repository AMS Acta.  

These Guidelines provide indications for preserving data and software, in line with FAIR and Open Science principles and in compliance with national and international standards. In particular, the Guidelines illustrate: 

  • aspects to be assessed before proceeding with the deposit; 
  • the AMS Acta login procedure and acceptance of the Terms of Use of the Service [.pdf 189 KB]; 
  • the work area for the management of datasets and software and validation procedures; 
  • the metadata required for identification of the datasets and software; 
  • the specific requirements of the datasets and software for admission to the repository; 
  • a checklist for the deposit. 

 

Additional material and facsimile templates for preparing datasets and software

In addition to the Guidelines, AlmaDL makes available also the following supplementary materials and facsimile templates: 

  • a short guide for file and folder naming and structuring into folders and subfolders;
  • the template of the supporting documentation to be attached to the deposited datasets and software (README file in .rtf [.rtf 94 KB] or .docx [.docx 20 KB] format);
  • a checklist for depositing datasets and software.
