The University of Bologna has joined the national CARE-CRUI agreement with IEEE. This transformative agreement covers both the subscription fees for accessing the resources included in the IEEE Electronic Library (IEL) database (journals, conference proceedings, standards) and the fees for publishing in Open Access in the hybrid and full Open Access journals published by IEEE.
Depositing in the Institutional Repository (Green Open Access)
For any article published in hybrid journals whose costs are not covered by the agreement, authors can make the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) (post-print) version of their article freely accessible by depositing it in the institutional repository or publishing it on their personal websites.
How long does the agreement last?
The agreement is valid from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024.
