The University of Bologna has joined the national CARE-CRUI agreement signed with Springer Nature. The agreement, which is transformative, covers both Springer and Nature journals. This page describes the Green Open Access clause of the Springer component of the agreement.
Depositing in the Institutional Repository (Green Open Access)
Authors can deposit the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) (post-print) version of their articles in the institutional repository and/or publish it on their personal websites. The publication will be accessible as Open Access after a 12-month embargo period, in accordance with the publisher’s general terms and conditions relating to accepted manuscripts.
How long does the agreement last?
The agreement lasts from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029.
