SCOAP3 (Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics) is an international project, coordinated by CERN in Geneva since 2014, aimed at bearing the costs of publishing articles in Open Access in peer-reviewed Particle Physics journals.
The costs for financing the project are borne by the universities and the research centers that have subscribed to the journals included in the start-up and later phases of the project. The University of Bologna has been involved in the project from its first phase.
Here is the list of the 11 journals included in the third phase (2020-2022) of the project:
- Acta Physica Polonica B (APPB) - ISSN: 1509-5770 - Jagiellonian University
- Advances in High Energy Physics (AHEP) - ISSN: 1687-7365 - Hindawi
- Chinese Physics C (CPC) - ISSN: 2058-6132 - IOP
- The European Physical Journal C (EPJC) - ISSN: 1434-6052 - Springer Nature
- The Journal of High Energy Physics (JHEP) - ISSN: 1029-8479 - Springer Nature
